Scrotal Recall on Netflix. Horrible title, but very good show. Similar feel to Four Weddings and a Funeral or Love, Actually.

Sounds fantastic thanks!

Weeds is good but still light. I like that the episodes are only half an hour too!

If you're on heavy painkillers, OP, I can recommend Lost. I recently rewatched all seasons while recovering from surgery and can say it made much more sense while I was on drugs.

Kidding aside:

Broadchurch is great. Both seasons.
Six Feet Under also stands up well and there are plenty of seasons to keep you busy.
Dead Like Me.
West Wing if you haven't seen it or need to be hopeful about the country.
Arrested Development--for sure.
I like a good Ken Burns documentary. The one about New York is great. (actually, that may be his brother's doc). The Civil War one is also great, and I'm working through Prohibition now. Of course, if you don't like documentaries, these won't be for you. Not light.

Maybe Brothers and Sisters? Once and Again? Parenthood?
