You are texting your children's teachers? For real? Did you already know them/have a friendship with them prior to them becoming your children's teachers? If not, texting seems inappropriate.


I keep a firm boundary. Yes, for real. None of your business, actually, but thanks for your concern. We work closely, side-by-side in support of my child.

The children are closely monitored at our school and told not to discuss FLE outside of class. I can assure you that they follow those instructions. I'm in the room and with these kids a lot and they say, "Ewwww, it was so gross and nasty. Makes me sick to think about it. Like we'd want to talk about that stuff?" Mine don't ride a bus and I know all their friends well. I keep very close tabs on mine and they know all they need to know. The rest of this curriculum is unnecessary, in my opinion. Do what you want for and to your children, just look at the curriculum before you blindly trust FCPS on this.
