WHy the fuck would you drag up and comment on a 2+ year old thread?

Moron.

Now that I've realized this is an old thread, I want to know what they named the baby!

Before I opened this post, Veronica was the first name that came to mind. I like it and I think it's underused.

The nickname doesn't have to match the full name, though. Here are some other G and V names I like:

Gabrielle
Genevieve
Gemma
Georgia
Vivian

Bruce's nickname is Hank. Nicknames can come from anywhere - name her what YOU want!

You sound so negative. I feel sorry for people whose first reaction is often negative

Right?! Also boring on top of negative.

Caillou means pebble or stone. Please don't ever name your child Caillou.

You could name her Petra. It means stone - from Greek Petros.

V: You could use Veruca (although anyone who knows the origin from Charlie/Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory would probably hate it).

How about one of the precious stone/mineral names. Some even use 'G' like Gemma (precious stone), Giada (jade). But any of the precious stone names (Amber, Beryl, Ruby, Opal, Jade, Crystal, Esmeralda, Jewel, etc) would work.

I like this. Was going to say Ruby. Opal is also nice. Or Petra, if you want to go the Peter/Rock route.

Rocky must be 4 years old today - exactly, it appears!

Just go with Rocky.

My ex had a cousin named Rocky. Sibling was Rambo.

The word caillou can also mean “bald head,” and since the cartoon character is known as “the bald-headed boy,” this makes perfect sense

Thanks, dcum!

Tell him to get a pet cat or dog and name them Rocky. Rocky is a terrible nn for anyone especially a girl.

Why is it up to you to figure it out? It’s not your baby!
