You will obviously do what you want and you don't have a problem with it in theory because you bought your son one, so the daughter does have a point. But just know that she will absolutely look spoiled driving around in a car like that. My kid graduated from high school and is completing her first year of college from a top school, and we are buying her a new car this summer. Our max budget we are willing to spend is $10k, and we think that is reasonable and the associated costs (gas, insurance, maintenance) are manageable for a young adult in college. |

Agree. I've found that many of these kids grew up and were unable to find a spouse. My sister in law is a great example. My in-laws continue to support her and her luxury goods at 30. |
