For an oldie, "Brian's Song," about Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo, football players.

Yes, I remember reading that researchers often used Brian's Song whenever they were running an experiment where they needed subjects to cry!

The Sessions.

A good cry. Not sad so much as really moving and uplifting.

Not at all--my husband and I both bawl (multiple times) watching that one. It's incredible poignant.

The way we were with Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford is a fantastic movie that makes me cry every time

Go to see the film "Little Boy" soon.

I just saw it and there is no way you will not cry at this movie.

The ushers should hand out free tissue(s) to its patrons for this.

Beautiful story. Excellent acting. A gem.

So, I haven't watched post Jodi Foster Oscar weirdness, so I'm not sure I'd react the same, and I know it's been panned in the reviews, but I am hard-pressed to think of a movie I've cried harder at than Sommersby. Total mess for an hour.
