This! Are all you women wearing the wrong bra size?!
if your bra is so tight that it's completely immobile, then it's just way too tight and you need to go up a size. It shouldn't be THAT tight.

I fasten in the back and always thought the front and turn method was for old women because it showed a lack of agility.

I hook in the front and turn. I have a one piece swimsuit that requires hooking the internal bra while it's on. I find that very difficult and frustrating.

Front.

+1. My small breasted mom and sister do it in the back. I have big boobs and that just wasn't happening. I saw another girl in the locker room in 6th grade do the front and turn method and I copied her. It works much better for big boobs.

Wow, I never knew people hooked in the front and turned. Learn something new every day.

Fasten in the back. When I had a professional fitting done I was told to lean forward and let your boobs naturally fall into the cups. Then you clasp in the back and your boobs should be sitting in the cups in the correct position without having to adjust. I am a 36DDD and have 4 clasp bras and it takes me only a few seconds to clasp it.

I fasten in the front and turn it around. Can't see what I'm doing otherwise!

This thread is blowing my mind.

I don't unclasp my bra. I just pull it on over my head, almost like a shirt. I wasn't aware this is rare but seeing as how nobody else mentioned it, I guess it is.

I do this, too. I don't think I ever really learned how to put a bra on. I remember when I started wearing them this is how my mom taught me (to clasp while it's around you) but I never got the hang of it, so I put it over my head, too.

No, you are 100% wrong. Your bra band should be supporting more of the weight of your breasts, not the straps. You want it snug at the loosest hook.

Snug, yes. Not immobile.

You can front-fasten and hold the cup out while bending to achieve the same thing. I'm am H cup. I cannot imagine trying to hold the weight of breasts plus band while fastening the hooks behind me.

Front and turn until I discovered Victoria Secret's Racerback bras. 36D.
