They would hate on her whether she was Middle Eastern, East Asian, South Asian, Native American,etc. Anything other than White American, White South African, Hispanic of Euro descent, or White European will cause sneers. Also, there is enough "white guilt" that nothing would be said if she was black.

This is evident and has been posted on this forum before about classic beauties only being white or black. Anyone else was too "ethnic" to be considered classically beautiful.

Not all posters obviously, but there is an underlying sentiment from some that unless your white you really can't compete in the looks department.

No, I actually think the PP is correct in her assessment, especially when some DCUM thinks that the Keibler woman was beautiful and Amal not so. Amal is very attractive and does not fit the typical blond eyed-blue eyed definition of beauty. Stacy Keibler is just white with ordinary features, but because she has dyed her hair blonde, many of you think she is beautiful. Um, she's not. And FWIW, I do think Brinkley and Theron iare extremely beautiful. I just don't think blonde hair and blue eyes automatically equate to beauty.

Actually, I recall lots of threads trashing Jennifer Anniston's looks, Anne Hathaway's looks, and others for their looks. Didn't even Stacey come under criticism for looking plastic and self-absorbed?

FWIW, I think Amal is great looking. Christie has a great bod, but bottle blonds don't interest me that much.

Woman of Middle-Eastern descent are often incredibly beautiful while very young, but when they get older their appearance becomes coarser, they get facial hair etc. Wealthy women who can afford constant maintenance keep their looks longer.
