Women: Do you get a brazilian and what's your age?

Wow, that's sad. What would happen if you let your bush grow out? Would you be exonerated from your "culture"?

Is using your brain to think critically and make your own choices not part of the "culture" of south Florida?

No, 48.

No way. I'm 44. I can't imagine PAYING someone to pour hot wax on my bush and then rip it off. Might as well throw money into the toilet and flush.

I keep it trimmed and under control. No man I've ever been with has been appalled or turned off. If anything they seem to love it.

If you see me at the beach, I'll be wearing board shorts anyway.

Me, exactly. But I Nair. Do none of you do this? Cheaper and easier. You do have to play with the time, to make sure you leave it on long enough to remove the hair, but not the skin!

you would be shot and killed.

i see why this area has such an uptight reputation. you'd be in the minority of women, but no one would care. i'm just noting that it is the majority preference.

again, wow. very uptight. relax. it isn't that serious. i went 18 years before having a brazilian. decided to try. overwhelmingly preferred it for aesthetics, sanitary feeling, and for my heightened sexual pleasure.

Apparently the "culture" of the DC area is to be a judgmental bitch.

"Come on, Brittany. You're 14 now... time to go get your pussy hair ripped out by an Asian woman! Go get in the car!"

Better that than an vacuous pawn of "the culture." Line up and get your bush hair pulled off, bitches. Don't ask any questions.

I just love that the pps are making this a black or white issue. Either you are a bald slut and childlike, which has set the women's lib movement back 100 years, or you have a full bush and are fighting back against the man. GASP...what if you are a progressive, free-thinking woman who tried a brazilian and decided that you liked it? There are so many things to get riled up about and to attack people over. If you are attacking someone's critical thinking skills because she decided to try a method of grooming that many others around her were doing, then you really need to get a hobby. Too much time on your hands. And why so much hostility?

+1 had this done at 36. Best money I've ever spent. Armpits too. Awesome.

could this be purely a generational thing? i am 30. when at the gym, it seems that women who are obviously 40+ are not doing any kind of brazilian or aggressive trimming. my age and younger are all doing brazilians or have moved onto laser.

I think the PP was talking about the south floridian who said it's unheard of to have a bush and it's just "part of the culture" to get waxed. That doesn't sound like free thinking. I don't think the response was aimed at the woman who debated it for 18 years.

And DCUM is my hobby, don't you know? Based on what people said on other threads about being at a loss when DCUM was down, I don't think I'm alone.

So following this logic, do you consider Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and many other latin countries to be lacking in critical thinking and independent choices?
