Sad movie suggestions....

I cried like a baby when I watched "The Champ". I think there are sad movies and then just all around depressing movies. I hate depressing ones (like No Country for Old Men) but I do love a good cry like Terms of Endearment.

Me, too.

I cried at The Kite Runner. Thought it was a great movie.

I cry at When a Man Loves a Woman.

My DH would suggest Field of Dreams, or the Natural. Anything about a complicated father-son relationship.

Yep. If you want to cry and ache and wished you never watched it, this is the one -- especially as a parent.

I just watch videos of military personnel coming home and surprising loved ones. Hot mess.

The airport scenes in Love Actually.

The Notebook.

NP. All these years and I've never seen that. I finally Wiki'd it and now I want to take a header off the 14th St. bridge.

Can I join you? Geez....just read the plot synopsis. It's beyond depressing.

Me too, what is wrong with you people? I'm crying from the wiki synopsis!

At least the boy sees? Hopefully?

I rarely cry when watching movies, but Dancer in the Dark definitely had me bawling.

DH cries every time we watch It's a Wonderful Life.

OMG I am SO glad I'm not the only one who cries at the end of Toy Story 3!!!! All I van think is that that will be my son one day.

Okay, now I have to go cry....

The last scene, with the Neil Young song in the background, and the friends and family gathered....man.

Oh, yes. That one kills me.

You should read the book!

Beaches and Stepmom for sure. Also, Officer and a Gentleman and My Girl.

That movie and "My Girl" are the kings of the "advertised as cute little movies but were in fact horribly, horribly sad" category.
