I live closest to the Beltsville location and everyone I know avoids that one.

But, do get some cones and sticks and let her do it over and over again. I can kinda do it now. Or, can you borrow a car with back up cameras for the test?

I am pretty sure you aren't allowed to have the backup cameras on for the test.

You can use the camera just can't only rely on it.

You can use the camera just can't only rely on it. You have to use the mirrors also.

The people were nice and the wait for the learner's test and the appointments wasn't as long as what my friends who went to the local office dealt with. I also know a few people who have gone to Hagerstown and recommended it.

The people in Frederick and Hagerstown will alway be nicer than the people here. At every store, restaurant, or business.

How are all you people going to survive your kids going to college? You have manipulated and planned their entire lives to make it easier as possible. What will they ever do without you??

I love how parents on here are STILL arguing about parallel parking & where's best to take the test for parallel parking & can they use their back up cameras & parallel parking hasn't even been on the test in a year, lol.

Although the route looks pretty straight forward to me, Beltsville has a high fail rate.

It's because Beltsville has a lot of recent immigrants taking the test there. They can't drive worth a crap and haven't been required to take drivers education thus they have not been taught the little things that help teenagers pass the test.

Just took my DD to white Oak a day ago. She had an afternoon free period so she made an appt for 2:15.
We stood in the wring line so we were late (go to the road test / cubicle 25 not the drivers license line). They still took her after some fussing.
No wait. She passed. Her tester was a good guy.
She did drivers ed with i drive smart.

If your kid fails at one place and passes at the next place it's probably just because he/she has taken the test a second time, not that all of the testers are bad at one place.

I'd like to see one you experts post some proof that Beltsville has a high failure rate.
