Love the name.

No way!

It’s like Elizabeth or Katherine in my book. Timeless.

Margaret was our girl name for our first, but it was a boy - and we ended up using it as a middle name for our second. I think it's a great name and some solid nicknames, but is great as Margaret as well.

I like the comments that it's like Elizabeth or Katherine - due soon and Katherine (nn Kate) is our girl name.

I have a 9 year old Margaret.

We've never used a nickname---I don't like Maggie and her full name just stuck.

I loved and still love the name.

My grandma was a Margaret. But for some reason it makes me have more fondness for the name, and I think Maggie is a super cute, not old lady sounding name. Peggy is the more old-lady nickname.

I think it's making a comeback. I know several Margarets under 5. You have lots of nickname options for it.

My mom did that, too.
