Do you pack your child's lunch if they can buy lunch at school?

DD buys only on nugget day. I have been worried about the time issue so am glad it's just one day. I find it apalling how little time they get for recess and lunch - it seems like extending each by 15 minutes would help with the learning the rest of the day and make it FAR worth the switch by having less wiggly kids and better fed kids.

DS refuses to eat the school lunch. I did agree to get him to start trying it once a month or so since out district had a new contractor this year and his friends say its better now.
