I agree.

I can't wait to see what President Mr. Nobel Peace Prize decides to do. Either way, he should give it back.

Cameron lost because 30 Tories voted against him. So, Obama can blame British conservatives (despite they are largely more liberal than most Democrats).

This!

But before we do, we support "democracy" in your country and we say your president must step down. So, until we bomb the shit out of you, we are going to arm the psycho rebels and then pretend we don't know who dun' it while hundreds of thousands of your people either die or become refugees. And if you are christian, you better hide now.

No. Let Jack Bauer take care of it.

Bet you feel the same way about MLK if you could figure out how to do it.

There are rumors going around in the Middle East right now that the US conspired with some of the rebels to use chemical weapons, simply to justify US military action against Assad. Nothing good can come from our taking any military action.

Of all the reasons I can think for making a policy decision, bowing to conspiracy theorists has to be the worst. If we did that in 9/11 we would have bombed Israel and the White House, because obviously they masterminded the attack on WTC.

Taking the perception of this action in the larger region into consideration is perfectly valid. especially when that region is as monstrously dysfunctional as the ME. No one can predict the larger repercussions here, could you have predicted what happened in Egypt over the last few months?

And Henry Kissinger and Yasser Arafat should have given theirs back too in that case.

You think they would know the difference between Democrat and Republican administrations.

No. The Americsn people don't want it, we will not have zuN support nor will there be a congressional, authorizing action. The Administration should do nothing. We are not and need not be the world's policemen. Further, we don't actually back the rebels either, so what is our goal?
