Is there any citable data on the number of in-pool and eligible?

C/P from another thread, looks authentic. I'm not the data source.

Grade Eligible Ineligible Total Eligibility %
2nd 2,024 1,160 3,184 63.6%
3rd 285 315 600 47.5%
4th 215 252 467 46.0%
5th 186 205 391 47.6%
6th 177 243 420 42.1%
7th 30 40 70 42.9%
2,917 2,215 5,132 56.8%

Hope we have last year's data to compare.
If we assume 13000 kids average each grade, then we have about 15% eligible for the current 2nd grade, in-line with recent years except last year. Last year, the total found eligible is about 500 more, assume most are in the 2nd grade bracket, so will be about 20% for last year 2nd grade.

A number of ways. Discussing who got in with other parents and having them tell me about their own kids or others that we know well. My kid telling me who from his class said they were in or not in. Who we saw at the orientation (am assuming that the attendees are all definite ins). Being asked for appeal advice.
