Is MCPS Superintendent Starr stupid?

Anonymous
Yes Mr. Starr is stupid. Just listen to any of his speeches or read any of his policies. His agend will "dumb" down the students in Montgomery County. It is shocking that he was hired by our county. How do we influence the decision makers to remove him as superintendent to stop the downward performance in our schools and the lasting negative impact on our students???
Mr. Starr is a liberal, imposing a liberal, union supported educational philosophy in a very liberal county in a very liberal state. The parents of MoCo are getting exactly what they have always supported. If you are complaining, that is just your white privilege talking. So shut up.

Why so rude? Why do you assume I am white? Is this the attitude with which you expose your children?

Because the PP at 11:52 has white privilege.

Of course he's right in the sense that intelligence alone doesn't guarantee success or even the ability to collaborate effectively. But it's an empty, silly observation to make on Twitter and it tips his hand to his ultimate goal -- teach to the middle because it creates better stnadardized test results.

Dude. It wasn't about your snowflake. Power down the chopper.

+1

agree - but ESPECIALLY like the chopper line

How long until his kids bail for private?

Does anyone know how much longer he will be superintendent in Montgomery County? Any efforts to have him removed from office?
Anonymous
Until June 30, 2015 if not renewed.

Because he himself was a mediocre student...and yes ...he is stupid...

Need to vote all the people who were on the board that chose such a ineffectual leader even after knowing his dismal record...

You've talked to his elementary school teachers and seen his high school and college transcripts?

Does one need to talk to his teachers or see his transcripts? Isn't 2 years of his incoherant babbling on TV and town halls enough evidence to draw conclusions?

Not to support the assertion that he was a mediocre student, no.

He was absolutely NOT a mediocre student.

Can you prove it? Or was he the typical MCPS honor roll student who failed the end of year bench mark exams.

I forgot, in our era of grade inflation and every one gets a ribbon society, since he made the honor roll, he was not a mediocre student.
