I Resent People With Money

I feel sorry you have MS and have to deal with that OP, but I do think you sound like an entitled 22 year old. I know lots of people with lots of money, and none of them are 22. And none of them had a lot of money when they WERE 22.

Firing for health reasons? That's not for cause. Not legal at all on their part.

But UE is only 9000 tops in DC, so frankly that is not a long term solution.

With the sequestration, this is not a great time to get a federal job, but I agree you should try to get a Schedule A disability letter from your doctor (you qualify). Call the disability coordinators at different federal agencies. This will make it easier to get a federal job.

Also, you may qualify for Medicaid.

Unless she is European, she can't just move to Europe! Se doesn't have the right to reduced tuition or disability just because she is present there.

Since when?
Just apply online, get student visa, health benefits are automatic

With the uk you have to have residency in order to qualify for reduced tuition, with some other countries you do not

And plenty offer degrees in english

Sure she can get health insurance if she is a student there. Bt she won't qualify for lower tuition unless she is eu. And she won't have the right to stay over after her degree is o er and apply for disability.

i'm with you OP. i'm around your age, in school, but i'm not sick. i would love to have enough money so i don't have to worry about money. people need to be grateful for what they have, for sure.

Having ms is one thing. Being 22 and healthy and broke is totally normal. You are healthy and thus not as scared about earning potential as she is.

Huh. You're in school. You're not sick. And you think OTHERS should be grateful for what they have? You're actually worse than OP. OP has a legitimate bone to pick with life in regards to the MS; you're an average 22 year old who thinks you're owed what people on this board worked YEARS to get. And lest you think I'm some rich bitch who's bitter you're calling me out, I'm not- I'm 28, not that much older than you. But I don't have any expectations that I should be at the earning potential of a 50 year old who has spent 30 years investing in their career. It's attitudes like that that give your generation a really bad rap.

Some of our spouses might be pumping gas on the turnpike if it wasn't for us. Suck it, PP. - SAHM with MS.

OP, you should tell us which company fired you illegally. They got away with it, so they'll most likely keep doing it until someone exposes them.

In the uk you need to have eu residence for 3 years to be considered for reduced tuition. Sweden, germany and the netherrlands and several others do not charge tuition, but you do have to pay for cost of living, but health benefits are guaranteed.

Also, she might struggle in her classes due to not speaking Swedish, German or Dutch.

All this advice about moving overseas is insane. It's not easy to emigrate and certainly not if you have no money to do it on.
