our nanny who voted for obama is voting for romney. She didn't go to college, doesn't make that much and her basic thought is that obama never delivered what he promised and is a disappointment. To the lay man that's what it boils down to. Most people don't think about congress blocking or whatever they just heard obama making promises and never kept them.

My husband supports Romney as well.
We both have bachelors degrees, he makes $70,000/year.

It's funny how everyone I meet just assumes that I'm an Obama supporter because I married a black man. The whole "Romney supporters are racist and/or wealthy" caricature doesn't apply to me. I actually think it's racist to assume that since I married a black man, I would just vote for someone because he's black. Uh, they're two different black guys.
