When Romney's policies improve the economy faster than obama's would have it will help them.

Maybe it's my math skills spilling over - I thought the call of the question was "if you support Romney"?

How would one reveal being borderline racist?

Creating offensive bumper stickers like this:

Many also call Obama a Muslim. This seems like bigotry to me. He is not even a Muslim but they want to hate him anyway.

You have bigger fish to fry if you are hanging around a bunch of people who act like that, no matter who they support politically.

I seriously doubt it.

The Romney supporters I know are all wealthy, or have very modest incomes but are very religious.

Well I definitely don't hang out with them, but sadly these ppl do exist and this upcoming election has really brought out the worst in some ppl.

So you don't actually know any; you are just stereotyping based on the caricatures you have seen online, on TV, etc.

You do realize that you can "know" someone with out "hanging out" as friends with them. I won't get into it any further bc you are now just picking on words and will go no where.

I guess religious background should probably be added to the poll. . .

My DH will vote for Romney. He's a non-minority, atheist with a BA. Our HHI is $350k, he earns most of it. He's not excited about Romney, but will vote for him because he's the Republican candidate.

Atheist
HHI: $300k
Me: PhD, DH: BA
Non-minority

My biggest problem with Romney is his religion. I don't think I can support someone who believes so strongly in something so wacky (my opinion only, of course) with absolutely no proof. In full disclosure, I feel the same way about Christianity. It's just so mainstream so I have to deal with it.

I agree their religion is a bit whacky, but do you know any Mormons?

I have had several Morman neighbors, and they are the most respectable, kind, responsible, charitable, law abiding, neighborly people you will ever meet. They have amazing, bright, accomplished children and very supportive families. they live very moral lives (in a gosh-gee kind of way). But they are not mean spirited or judgemental or so religious they forget how to smile.

Strange religion, but very good people.
