Why do people park right next to me when I park allll the way in the far end of the parking lot?

AMEN! This is exactly what happened to me. It was a Target parking lot - a trillion other spots, but he hugged my car and I struggled to get my baby into the car.

So I blocked him in with my empty shopping cart. Jerk

You idiot. It's so that the SN people don't have to walk far to/from their seats (in case their SNs include physical handicap). That's why the seats are in the back.

They either passive aggressive, admire what your driving, or they've simply aquired that "i have to park next to someone" codependent behavior pattern or habit from family members and friends. I'll park at a distance and the same happens to me. Before in enter any establishment, I tend to move my vehical again to give an inuendo that i want my own space to park.

Yes, this. Do you find the following also happens to you:

You go to the bathroom stall on one end and someone comes in and walks to the other end of the many stalls then comes back and goes into the stall right next to you.

The grocery store aisle is empty but as soon as you go to reach for something other shoppers come out of nowhere and need to get something from the exact same spot you are looking at.

You sit down in a somewhat empty auditorium and although there are tons of open seats, someone comes to sit next to or behind you. They don't even talk or acknowledge you.

The one crazy person on public transport always seems to want to sit near you and start a conversation.

Yes. I have noticed that there are other people in public places besides me.

My policeman buddy parked his new truck at the far end of a lot on Rockville Pike and left with his friend to go somewhere. He said when he got dropped off to get his truck, a van was parked next to his truck blocking the view and someone was underneath his truck cutting the catalytic converter off. He said he stop parking at the far end of the lot and now parks up front around other cars.

I used to work at a store where we were required to park at the back of the lot in order to keep the front free for customers.
