CFA vent!!!

I also have a consult at SG with Dr Nair that I haven't cancelled yet. So I could go either way at this point.

Should I be steering clear of CFA?

I had a very bad experience with Butler at CFA, and be forewarned he's Dr. Sacks' back up.

Also, if you're going to Shady Grove, I'd avoid Nair. She is patronizing and in my case didn't read charts--you can get a better doctor there--Widra, Osborne, Chang are all ok.

Is it really expecting too much to be told what the details of my treatment plan are? And should I really need to call over and over to get my meds called in? Is that typical of other clinics?

Round 1 was a nightmare dealing with the staff, and, while this one is better, it's still very frustrating...I say only two days from my first pre-stim check up without having received the least bit of communication from the nursing staff.

I like my RE, but if this cycle is not successful I think we will have to find another office that's at least minimally responsive.

The DC office is a fucking train wreck. Inconsistent attention, angry staff, billing folks that won't return calls. We spent 6 months there and left for SGF. At SGF, we had a dedicated nurse with name, number, and email address on the first day of treatment.

Slightly off-topic question, but where is egg retrieval done for the DC CFA office?

Interesting, we had a terrible experience with Sacks (he didn't read our bloodwork) and a great experience with Nair (because she read our bloodwork).

For what it's worth, we were a little put off by Dr. Nair's disposition. It did seem a little too polished. But I don't think she is insincere.

I'm currently at CFA with Dr. Abassi. I have no problems with them at all. Whenever I call it feels like they know exactly who I am and what my situation is. I also like Andy and Sabrina. Haven't had any problems at all.
