you can't argue with the feminazi man haters. If it was up to them no one would wear makeup, we would all be 200 pounds, have short hair, thin rimmed glasses and look like bull dykes |
Man hater? Where did that even come from? ![]() ![]() |
Ah, ok, so that's who these bitches are! I hadn't thought about the feminazi crowd. Makes complete sense now. And I had a good laugh at your descrption, too. ![]() |
I am wearing make-up today and am relatively attracive but guess what? I am an adult!!!!! |
You are so eloquent and demonstrate so much class. NOT!!!! You're just tacky. So it's not okay for people to disagree with you but it is okay for you to call anyone that disagrees with you a bitch??? You seem like a real superstar. |
I think you mistake me for someone else. I've merely been watching the blow by blow until now. The original statement I quoted was too good to pass up, though! It really is funny how crazy people get over the dumbest shit. |
Ah, okay. Although, run by me again, why it's okay to use the bitch word? I was "one" of the people arguing with crazy McCrazy and that description does not match me in the least ( manhater/unattractive/200 pounds etc). I just think there is a time and place for everything that's all. |
You just called me tacky and a superstar (and not in a nice way). That's somehow better than refering to crazy bitches? You meant to be hurtful, so it's not. |
It's not cursing so yes, it is...it's a mere middling level insult that would be acceptable in an argument before it gets over the top into "crazy". You can handle it. |
And yes, cursing is tacky. But I do it all the time. It's still tacky though. |
first time poster on this thread, and i haven't read the entirety of it, so excuse me if i'm repeating anything, but...
i am disturbed by the trend in recent years of letting preschoolers prance around in makeup and heels (yes, i consider anything with a lift a heel). at the risk of being flamed, it just seems a bit trashy, and a bit too grown up. i say let kids look like kids, and not miniature women. i have a problem with most girls clothes these days too. why is gap so full of adult trends (animal prints, fake fur, sparkles, etc.)? i opt to dress my kids in clothes that look like kids clothes (olive juice, mini boden, janie and jack) rather than miniature versions of diane von furstenberg animal print wrap dresses. and i am no birkenstock wearing au natural tree hugger either -- i wear makeup every day (although never did before i was in high school) and live for my jimmy choo platforms. and i let my daughter play in my closet and attempt to walk around in my bejeweled shoes while carrying my patent leather clutches. but that doesn't mean she gets to leave the house looking like she belongs in toddlers and tiaras. i feel less strongly about nails, but it does bug me to see little girls getting mani/pedis at the salon. it just seems a grown up activity that they dont need to partake in so early. i feel less disturbed by having their nails painted at a fair or something -- seems less like an adult activity and more like getting their face painted. I let my daughter do this once, and she enjoyed it for the day, and then we removed the nail polish that night. I didn't want her to think that having nail polish on her nails was anything different from a temporary novelty like face painting or a temporary cartoon tattoo on her hand. i don't impose my beliefs on other people, but i can't help but slightly judge the moms of young girls wearing makeup and heels who i otherwise don't know. that said, i do have a couple of friends that let their kids do this, and i don't hold it against them. |
Well said. |
My 3.5-year-old occasionally asks for me to polish her nails, so I bought a polish with just a little bit of color. She doesn't bite or chew on her fingers, so I didn't worry about buying the nontoxic stuff. she also has a bonnie bell flavored lipsmackers lip balm so she can be like me. I don't wear much makeup otherwise; she's never asked to wear more than that. |
