She doesn't have to sue anyone! Rush just made her a Multi-Millionare. She's going to have book deals, she's going to be commanding huge speaking fees.

The pharmacutical companies probably payed him to put her in the spot light. Now if this bill is passed (Which it probably will be because of the heighted exposure), Now they will be charging hundreds of dollars more for a product that costs about $12 month right now without insurance.

Rush attacked this woman to shut her up. He and his supporters would like to stop the free exchange of ideas. This in their opinion can be done by attacking, belittling, dispraising anyone who expresses thoughts, ideas or opinions contrary to the conservative orthodoxy. It may not stop the current person, but it gives pause to those who would follow. Look at how the republican presidential candidates ran from rush.
