Why I could never vote for Gingrich

I don't support Newt, but I like his views on immigration more so than Romneys. and would probably play better in the general election on that topic.

With alll that black pride of the first black president I would think black people would achieve more or dead beat black baby dads would step up instead they just felt like they got some sort of entitlement and more people ask for hand outs. He is making it so hard to live with these gas prices forcing ppl who can barely make it buy these stupid green cars. Guess what Im not black but I have family who is and at first they were excited finally someone black but still warey of him and now they are checking out the conservatives because at the end of the day they care about their money and hate those fugly green cars.

Yes I know this whole forum this whole dcum is more liberal and so Im not surprised about ohbumahs support
Oh yeah, Obama is responsible for dead beat black baby dads not stepping up just like Newt is responsible for serial adulterers not getting their act together and finding morality.

All these people behaving badly - gee why don't they pay closer attention to our politicians???!!!!

You have not met him.

He left both of his wives just after they had been diagnosed with horrible diseases. He carried on an affair while trying to take Bill Clinton out for doing the same thing. I know that many of our presidents have carried out affairs while in office. I guess this just really bothers me. He seems so smug about it. How can he honestly sit there and talk about "defense of marriage" or "sanctity of marriage". Like I said, I am a forgiving person, I voted for Bill Clinton twice, and I probably would have voted for him again. Newt just eeks me out. This whole situation is very good news for Obama and Romney.

I agree with you. He is smarmy and she looks like she east small children for breakfast and kittens and puppies for snacks. A first lady who had an affair with a married man for six years, sleeping with him in his wife's bed, his wife has been diagnosed with MS and doesn't care if he has an open marriage. I prefer Cruella Devil for FLOTUS.

that should be "eats" not east. Does Tiffany's sell Ruby Red Slippers?

Once he's emperor he'll launch a war to annex Canada and Mexico to add to his territory.

Will he crown himself and who will be his Jean Paul David?

The media criticism has not been fair. Why should I care what a candidates ex wife thinks of him?

So because he talks routinely about the sanctity of marriage, yes it is entirely relevant that he proposed and open marriage arrangement. This isn't just a bad marriage leading to an affair which leads to divorce. This is him actually proposing open marriage. AND NOW he's not apologizing for it, he's openly denying it. Which is exactly what he did when he was accused of taking 1.5M in lobbyist money from Fannie and Freddie. Exactly how he has rationalized his ethics fines as non-fines.

Either he is unable to examine himself, or he is unashamed to say anything, however crazy, that works to his political advantage. Either is not a suitable trait for a President.
I am not naive. Nobody lives a perfect life. Conservative politicians are all hypocrites
I do not care about a candidates personal life. I want to know if they can do the job.
You care, I do not

If he cannot handle his personal life without duplicity, hypocricy, and a total lack of any sense of ethics and morality, then I care a great deal. He isn't fit to be dog catcher as it would contaminate even the mangiest canine.

Right-wing evangelicals look askance on Mormons. In their opinion, Romney is not a "Christian." Ignorance in not bliss.

Why doesn't someone just ask Newt what he was "consulting" to the *head lobbyist* of Freddie Mac? How can he possibly claim that he wasn't talking strategy and influence peddling? We all know that's what he was doing.

Ugh. Newt is just so angry. And mean spirited.

you should have enough wattage in your own brain to take in the proven facts over his long and tawdry history, analyze and synthesize, and conclude that whether you're liberal or conservative, the guy is a duplicitous, deceptive, fatuous, hypocritical, unstable serial liar prone to outrageous outbursts that alienate even his fellow Republicans.

That is NOT a media construction or fabrication. I would hope you're sharp enough to figure that out. ;-o
