Any thoughts on the value of Harvard for undergrad vs grad school ? The admits are impressive and congrats to the families, but some of my friends went to Harvard and/or spent 10 years up in Cambridge between undregrad at Harvard and Grad at MIT and what they have shared is that as an undergrad at Harvard you are a number, that there is heavy TA usage and that you better just suck it up as an undegrad and say , Thank you, because after all you will have Harvard on your resume. Whereas as Middlebury, Swarthmore, Vassar, Sarah Lawrence and the like you have a lot of 1:1 prof time as an undegrad and can then go to a great Grad program at Harvard of MIT. Anyone ?
