I was actually surprised that out of the 15 children in my son's Capitol Hill preschool class 5 were of mixed race. I thought mine would be the only one they all were quite cute IMO.

The idea of "hybrid vigor" is complete bunk. Zero science backs it up. For every example of a biracial child that seems to "be the best of both worlds" there is one that seems to have gotten "the worst of both worlds" and several who are right in the middle. Just like any other parent combination will produce.

This nonsense needs to stop. It is such a ridiculous way to think about interracial relationships and biracial children. Marry who you love, no matter what his/her race. And love your children, no matter what they look like.
