Va tags, what do you tell your auto insurance company? That the car is garaged in VA?

Wow..how deep are we going with this? Point is, we legally attend DC schools, pay DC taxes, and have VA tags. But yes, one of my cars is garaged at my house in VA....enough...good bye topic!

If you are a DC resident (live most of the time, vote, etc.) and the vehicle is used here, you may wish to "proudly" display VA tags but the vehicle should properly have DC tags.
operative word, "should". I have offstreet parking so I have not had any issues. I'll keep my VA plates Thank you very much! Mind YOUR business..

On that note, you can report out-of-state parking violations via SeeClickFix or by calling 311. This will get the ROSA enforcement folks on it. They're pretty relentless once they get their hooks into someone.

As "VA Tags" says, "Mind your business". Of course, as DC residents, people who don't pay their registration, fees, and taxes *is* our business.

You people need to get a life. Don't you all have children that deserve this much attention?

Hmm. That's really hurtful. I can't believe you would say I need to get a life. I mean, using SeeClickFix is so simple: you just hit a button or two, it uses the GPS function of your phone to tag your location, and it sends it off to the appropriate DC agency. Takes like 3.5 seconds while I'm walking my dog. It's like picking up a piece of trash that you see lying on the ground.

Well, for all you DC residents who (as Gerald Ford once said) "pay the taxes and obey the rules," take this as a challenge. DC Charter school parent, VA tags and an entitled attitude. Shouldn't be that hard to identify, and send the information to DMV when you do.

..why doesthe issue of where my car is Registered have you all flustered? Regardless, I pay DC taxes, and my kids have the same rights as yours to attend DC schools. Isn't that the point of the conversation?

Not really. Lying is.
