The AAP meeting is January 10th at our school, so I would assume you'll get the scores before then. |

| last year at our school they had the meeting before the scores came out to explain to parents what they mean. then they had another meeting in april right before the decision letters came out. they seemed to want to get in front of parents questions. |

Exactly. Scores will likely NOT be out before the AAP meetings in January. The focus of the meetings is on the process, so that parents are aware about the pool and (perhaps more importantly) the deadline to refer their student. The meetings will use the materials that are already posted on the AAP website: http://www.fcps.edu/is/aap/forms.shtml |

I'm the PP who wrote this response. Last year at our meeting, parents were aware if their child was in the pool because they had received the test scores plus a letter telling them their child was in the pool. |

Last year, according to the threads posted here, parents with students at least 15 different FCPS schools did not receive their in-pool letter or their scores in time for the AAP info meeting. |

Our school doesn't even have a January AAP meeting. There was one in October, and if this year is like years past, that's all there will be.

| The meeting will just tell you the same info that's on the AAP website, so it doesn't really matter when it is. |

Check the other thread. Schools are sending them out so it depends on your daughter's school. |
