Current experiences with BU or Northeastern

Who is this idiot ? . BU and Northeastern and Boston College all have about 20 to 25% of students from Massachusetts. Why leave the state when there’s a quality school an hour or two away?

UMass and the other New England college cater to the blue collar, public school student. There's a reason why no New England public college has the reputation that UVA, UNC, UIUC, UCLA, UT Austin, etc. has.

As for Northeastern and BU being commuter schools? Wow, that is about as ignorant of a take as you will find. These are two of the most geographic-diverse schools in the country.

BU, NEU, and BC were commuter schools.

So was MIT. And?

Today....BU, NEU, and BC are among the top colleges in the country.

Institutions can evolve and improve.

BU, BC, and NEU are nowhere near the top colleges in Massachusetts let alone the country.

Sorry, sport. 3,000 colleges in the country. These are all T50 colleges. Burns I know, but you'll come out fine.

MIT was a vocational school.

Harvard was like a country club for White people.

Mediocre outcomes from the BU, NEU, BC grads. UMass has a great undergraduate business school at half the cost.

Absurd, incorrect claims. Just keep digging.

Wrong on outcomes. Nice try though. 🙂

UMass is great for Massachusetts residents. No one in their right mind would pay OOS tuition to go there.

UMass's out of state yield is 8%. That is not a typo.

Even its in-state yield is 25%. Massachusetts students themselves don't even want to attend it.

UMass isn't even the best public college in New England.
