The troll lost the thread obviously and forgot the OP framing. |
Sure but it’s and underpaid sweatshop in general, and you are pushed out or burned out before can accumulate enough equity to be worth it, on average. |
But not much and oft diluted. |
Workers re exploited all the time, and generally finding another job is not trivial. |
It depends on when they acquired the stock, if/when they did an 83b election for options, etc Insiders don't buy the stock in the IPO. |
SpaceX lives on government handouts |
Wow that’s deep. And then you married a smart guy! |
They also love pretending they lifted themselves from poverty whereas they had servants all their lives. Trying to be part of the “black and brown” underrepresented group. |
I love hearing how impoverished their family was for generations only to realize via a simple google search they’re part of the upper caste. |
| To the extent that the value is real, it comes from the possibility that he’s stolen control of the United States and given it to Putin, not from rockets. |
No they are not because they are not being forced to work there. They always have a choice to work somewhere else. Sounds like the only skills you have are flipping burgers. |
Good point. So if it’s long term gain, 20% LTCG + 3.8% NIIT + state taxes Or they could take loans on their equity, live off the loans, and not pay any taxes. Buy-Borrow-Die |
And the hate towards perceived affirmative action hires or admits
|
Definitely not to Putin though, he is in pretty dire straits rn |
Bunch of clueless libs on this thread. It’s not a handout if the company is providing a service/product for the govt. Do you expect SpaceX to transport govt satellites to orbit and astronauts to the ISS for free? SpaceX does it cheaper and faster than the govt could ever do in its wildest dreams. Now welfare is a govt handout. The govt gets nothing in return except more single mothers with lots of babies who are dependent on the govt. |
