I got zero for Mother's day

Not your point but if he worked on Sunday until 8 pm it sounds like he also has a "real" (and perhaps quite demanding) job?

Sometimes kids don’t realize it’s Mother’s Day either. Why would they? Just decide what you want to do, and say, “It’s Mothers Day, we are going to spend the day at the beach.” Or brunch or whatever you want to do. This will typically que them to make a card or something- but if not, you get to enjoy a family day. Don’t be passive aggressive about it


I posted earlier in this thread, but I was surprised that my husband actually DID care about Father’s Day and his birthday when I didn’t celebrate them. I wasn’t being vindictive. I was just busy, and he had told me multiple times that he didn’t care.
