How would you handle parent dropping child off with younger sibling at play place?

Anonymous
My kid had a birthday at an indoor playground that was supposed to be drop off and the guests included a 12 year old sibling and an entire family (mom, dad, and THREE younger siblings) among others, I ended up spending 400 dollars extra. What is with these families who bring BOTH parents and all the kids to come eat crappy pizza?

No home training or just a bunch of peasant free loaders who take advantage of child care and a free meal. Sick! Next time, I am having an exclusive event and manning the door. They will have to have a gold ticket to get in and I will kick out anyone who doesn’t and shame these families. In hindsight, I would have been a HBIC and said, “ Oh you want to bring a family? I am sorry but you will have to go to the front and pay and remove them from our party list and get your own food to eat outside the party room. I bet they would have left. They don’t want to pay anything. And the parents were rude and did not even say hi. Yuck! And they wonder why people hate immigrants.

I’m amazed that you thought this was a clever response.

How sad for you.
