I've outright broken a toe. You buddy tape, and loosen your laces so there's room for any swelling. And then you just continue on. But... he didn't even break it?! mmmmmkay.

Bad sprains often last longer and are more painful than minimal fractures. I had this happen with my forearm: tumbled down the length of my basement stairs, fell on my arm, and thought I'd broken it. Went for an X-ray, and the doctor told me that if it had been broken (it wasn't), it would have taken a few weeks to recover, but since it was a bad sprain, it would take me months. Which it did!

Saturday night watching the housemaid while drinking wine and eating leftovers. DH on ski trip. Girls lunch earlier in the day. Sunday will finish up work and do a little tidying up. Hoping for snow and telework day Monday.
