Whatcha doing this weekend?

I'm going to try and relax, catch up on my DVR recordings and read. I will probably walk both Saturday and Sunday but it will hopefully be a quiet and peaceful weekend. Fingers crossed.

What? Your husband is soft.

Let's see how you do when a heavy garbage can falls on your foot.

We’ve been doing this since last fall. We already have thousands in our database.

JFC that’s literally insane. You are adding to the near universal trend towards hostility that is pervading our entire culture right now. You can’t “win” by assigning individuals a group identity that you deem worthy of being targeted for harassment. You wouldn’t want some group of crazy MAGA nutters stalking you around your daily life and hobbies so that they can create a database for future targeting so then why would you do that to other people?

Surely PP’s post is fake, right? Are people seriously doing this?

Also driving back DD from Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, and hoping to get home before any accumulation...

I mean, I just want to sleep and breathe through my nose, for once. Is that too much to ask???

That sucks PP. Maybe take a hot bath for your opening you nasal passages. Read a good book in there too. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks, PP. I will take a long shower (don't like baths) and use up all the hot water. It does help!

Eat something really spicy too! A spicy soup always clears me up a bit.

Our weekends are usually pretty mellow, but just back from friends’ house and then seeing more friends on Sat and Sun. Reading and bills and a bit of work during day. Also have a house full of 20-something boys in town.

I'll be staying home to spend time with my new dog who is still adjusting. So laundry, maybe some cooking, maybe shoveling snow at some point. Definitely some Netflix.

Cannot believe how relaxing life has become since leaving my very toxic job a month ago.

I was working a lot ➕ used my weekends for cleaning/laundry/shopping/errands/etc.

It’s nice not having to stress about not having enough time.

I am currently in the middle of giving my house a deep-clean 🧹🪣🧽🧼 and will continue doing so this wknd.
Taking breaks in between to scroll DCUM and watch YouTube videos too!

I went back to work a week later after having a knee replacement.
