Wow - a few years ago SJC accepted over 35 students from Deal and we did not know anyone not accepted.
Not all enrolled
Not all stayed

Is the Tuition Assistance Committee the same as clarity? So sorry.. this is confusing to me. I applied for financial aid through clarity but didn’t hear from clarity directly but received a letter from the tuition assistance committee

Are you new or a current family? We applied for aid as a new family and haven’t heard anything. I’m wondering if that means a no or if notifications come separately?

We got the the financial aid letter in a sealed envelope addressed only to the parents. It came in the acceptance packet.

If you are a new family, FA decisions will most likely come in the acceptance package like in past years. I WISH they listed FA decisions in the portal along with acceptances. Would make life easier when trying to weigh options, but they don’t, so keep an eye open for your acceptance package and the details should be in there!

Same goes for art/theater/music scholarship decisions. These are announced in the paper acceptance package.

If your DC did a SJC band audition, there should be a list showing which band they got into by the music rooms at accepted students night. Last year there was also an info session for music students and a Regimental Band practice the week before school started.

Don't let people like this pi$$ on your parade because they are unhappy with their life.

Enjoy these milestones with your kid and feel good knowing that people like this are at another school.

But what if those people ARE actually at the school with you? Dun dun dun...PLOT TWIST!!!!!!!

Then the question would be why did you stay?
