| The St John’s site lists late Feb for admissions decisions, does anyone have a better idea of when in late Feb? |
| Historically they announce the same day as GZ and Visi. If I remember correctly, the student application portal will have a message that appears about a week out stating the exact date/time that you can log in and see admission status. You might have to log in to see it, though. |
| I'm going to ruin the suspense for you: Your kid got in. |
I certainly hope so! I saw on another thread that they got over 1300 applications. No idea if that’s accurate or not. |
We were at the Scholars program seminar a few weekends ago and the speaker said > 1400 applications this year. I feel like I remember 1450ish, but I’m confident someone else will correct me if I’m wrong lol. I have no idea how this compares to prior years, but I’ve seen online that the admissions % is around 45%. |
| I thought it was 2/26 |
Yes, the website says 45% |
| Accepted Students Night is March 3rd so hopefully they let people know soon! |
| I heard that schools like to announce acceptances on Fridays so that kids have the weekend to process the decisions before going back to school. |
|
Each class is around 350, I assume not everyone that is accepted enrolls but 45% won’t really work if they have over 1400 applications assuming more than half of those accepted enroll.
Good luck to everyone that applied. |
| Can someone confirm when decisions went out last year? Did you get the accepted students night from the school calendar? |
Last year = Fri. Feb. 28th @3ish online |
It's so staff doesn't have to field call from crazy upset parents. Everyone leaves at 3:45 pm, release decisions at 4 pm, give parents the weekend to calm down. The really crazy ones still call on Monday day and yell and demand to know why their perfect child wasn't admitted, but it does cut down on the knee jerk reactions. |

Lol. Tell me this is your first kid going to high school without telling me this is your 1st kid. |
