| I live in western Fairfax and have not received any mail this week. I’m glad I found this. I was searching to see if I was the only one not getting it. |
| We finally got ours on Friday. We are in Alexandria. |
| Got ours yesterday after seeing in the app for days. |
USPS did deliver on Friday. Eventually. |
| We have not gotten mail for over a week at this point. |
|
Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Can’t remember if earlier. Delivery guy got out of truck, climbed over frozen bank of slippery snow the plow left, and put mail on our mail box.
That’s more than I expect, honestly. I tried to meet him at the drive that’s cleared, but only caught him in person once. |

Fairfax County. We did not receive mail the Saturday before the storm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and the Saturday after the storm. They did deliver two items on Wednesday. According to Informed Delivery, we are waiting on 15 pieces of mail, including several tax documents.
Our street was plowed on Sunday and I made sure our sidewalk and front walk (mailbox is next to the front door were clear of snow and ice (indeed dry). |
| What are your thoughts on putting a hold on the mail, like when you go on vacation. Then I could pick it up at the Post Office. DH says no and that this is more likely for it to be lost. I think it could work. I don't think it will be delivered soon with the amount of ice in the road here. |
| Nothing in North Arlington since the Friday before the storm. |
No, this week the Food & Drug Administration is delivering the mail. |
| 19:54 poster update - Wife called the USPS Customer Care Center this morning. They said they would escalate the complaint. She later received a call from a local postmaster who repeatedly apologized and assured her our mail would be delivered today. It wasn't. |
| We got some Friday and Sunday (!) but none today, Monday. |
| We ended up getting yesterday’s mail, but it didn’t include any of the mail from earlier in the week that we could see in Informed Delivery… |
| Nope. Nor has the county plowed our road 12 days out from the storm. We'll see if the trash trucks show up today. |
| I live in Fairfax and was out of town Tuesday-Friday. Came back Saturday and mailbox was full. We also received mail on Monday (yesterday). We still have a huge pile of snowcrete in front of the mailbox too. Shout out to the USPS for doing a great job for me and my street at least! |
