If the birthday girl doesn't want to do it, why are you even considering it? For most normal people. the whole thing would be a hard pass.

Based on the crowds there, it seems like plenty of people like it.

Crowds of people go to Applebees and Nascar races and Vape shops, too, but its not most normal people's scene.

That's pretty rude. This is an important cultural ritual in Korea. And many other cultures have similar rituals (Japanese onsen, for example, and Hammams in Morocco). It's fine if you don't enjoy it, but making it like it would be crazy to like it is pretty culturally insensitive.

We are talking about a middle aged woman's birthday party in the United States and its not normal in our culture to wander around spas butt naked in front of strangers. Weird and creepy for most.

Lol. Yes please stay away and don’t come.

I totally respect that some people don’t like it, but at the end of the day it is not all that different from a gym changing room. You’re not staring at people. And the nudity has a purpose (hygeine and comfort). Also nobody forces you to do the nude part except you really should shower.

I have to agree with this. 👍🏽

Are you the same girls who didn't shower after gym class?

If you think Applebees isn’t “normal,” you need to get out more.

PP said they can’t imagine “anyone” liking it when this is an important cultural ritual in many places. Clearly this isn’t a good fit for OP, but there’s no need to denigrate.

You are creepy if you think the human naked body is creepy. It means you have inappropriate thoughts crossing your mind wherever you see a naked body. There is absolutely nothing wrong with naked body.

Yes, the good thing is those people never go to hamam or sauna where normal people spent their time.

No one is "wandering around butt naked" at King Spa. There is a nude bade pool room that many do not even go into, and most places in the world have a tradition of single-sex communal bathing that is not remotely "weird and creepy." You sound extremely unsophisticated.

My school's locker rooms didn't have showers, so nobody was showering after gym class. There were only showers attached to the pool locker rooms and then everyone showered in their swim suits.

Did they then put their clothes on over their swimsuits, ffs?
