King Spa Chantilly

Massage:facial:pedicure will run at least $200pp at the lowest end. Before tip.

A King Spa day pass is $90, which everyone was going to pay and then those who wanted it could add on a massage or facial or something there in the $110-250 range. I think asking people to pay $250 for just a massage is going to be too much for some of them who were just going to do the saunas included in the $90 day pass.

You can definitely avoid participating in nudity, but you will not be able to get a body scrub if you're not comfortable being nude, which is the signature experience. Outside of what is essentially a locker room with hot tubs, everyone is in the uniforms. You can get massages and facials in co-ed, clothed areas. All the saunas are co-ed and clothed, and the outdoor pool is with bathing suits.

Apparently Spa World is of worse quality but allows bathing suits in the nude areas. There will still be nudity there, though.

How do the body scrubs work for the guys? I can't imagine they "finish" the scrubs in front of each other, do they?

I can't speak to men. For women, I was surprised how close they came to my crotch. It didn't feel sexual at all, but it was pretty uncomfortable for me because I'm a bit modest, I suppose.

Were they suggesting they'd be willing to get closer?

Yeah, even putting aside the nudity of it all, King Spa would be a weird experience with that big of a group. I went with two girlfriends last year and had a lot of fun, but it would be very awkward for nine people to try to stay together. A lot of the sauna rooms are small, and scheduling massages or other services at the same time would be challenging.

Not at all. It didn't feel inappropriate, sexual, or anything like that.

The sounds like a weird thing the husband put on you to plan, OP. How is this a Christmas gift from him? He’s not paying for the guests and he is not planning it.

AGREE. I would never, sorry. I would meet you for a cocktail afterwards.

I call troll. First it’s a birthday get together, then it’s a Christmas gift from husband who asked OP to arrange? To a nude spa with a bunch of women? And there’s an Asian flavor also?
Who else thinks this is a teenage boy’s fantasy?

A dude who likes middle aged soccer moms.

Check out resortpass. The watergate has a deal there. Bit bummer that the birthday girl isn’t into king spa. I think it’d be really fun and the nudity isn’t a big deal.

He's paying for the hotel rooms for everyone to stay together at the hotel.

check out the Yelps on these spas. Most non-Koreans complain of cleanliness issues.

I’ve been to King Spa and it’s perfectly clean.
