Tell me about J. Jill.

I’m 41 and I have to say petite j Jill pants can be a good option

This is such a weird question. If the pants fit you and look good, who cares where they are from.

OP, are you under the impression that people will know where you bought the pants when you are out and about? And that they will have a label that says "old and fat" on them?

I have a girls weekend to attend in a few weeks and I just stopped by J.Jill for some stretchy pants and roomy tops/sweaters. That place is fantastic!

Yes I wore their Wearever pants throughout my pregnancy to work.

I'm in my mid forties and I have a few tunics and stretch pants from J. Jill. They are comfy and good casual wear.

I'm relatively fashionable...but sensible enough to know that no matter the style, clothes only look good if they fit. I'm very slim and have a tough time finding pants that fit. I'm definitely going to check out their pants after reading your post. (I pass that store at Montgomery Mall every time I'm there and have never wandered in).

Maybe don't shop their for your "look" but if they have staples, like a great pair of basic pants, that fit you well and compement your figure than you should stick with them. Get your more stylish pieces elsewhere, but I say when it comes to basics/staples, "if it aint broke..."

This is so logical and down-to-earth, I can't believe this was a post on DCUM!

It looks real boring and like something for people who want to disappear and not be seen

Just bought jeans at Talbots and they fit better than anything I tried on a Gap, Loft, Banana, J Crew. Not sure about their other stuff but jeans are worth checking...
