Are you buying anything from Black Friday sales? If so what?

Some stores absolutely inflate prices well before BF, especially electronics, and then have BF “sale” prices, or advertise too good to be true sales and sell out immediately. You have to be careful, BF prices are not always all that.

No one shops at Target for clothes anymore.

Overpriced junk

Costco for basics.

Or other stores like Bannana Republic cheaper than Target

oh, baloney!

and there is no world where banana republic is cheaper than target.

Also upgraded airpods for daughter and me as the old ones fall out of our ears, and getting a tv for the “play room” as I’m trying to get my teens to have their friends over more. Pretty good sales on all this stuff.
Really need comfy work shoes but the ones I ordered don’t work so still hunting there.

My Christmas gift to myself was a coffee grinder — it was about 30% off so not great but probably won’t go any lower.

Target has sheets 40% off today including the threshold ones which make them a great buy.

My favorite towels are the lands end Supina cotton and I think they are on deep sale today too.

Where? Did you buy the Target ones? What are the "threshold ones"? I need new sheets.

Threshold is the nicer Target brand. I like them better than I like much more expensive sheets. They wash really well and hold up and are very soft but 100% cotton (not that slipper soft you can get with some blends). They are decently priced on a regular day so a total steal at 40% off. I was only really needing one pair of sheets for a new bed but decided to get a spare set for all the beds at that price.

I do like them also, but I have found the fitted sheet wears of after a year or so. I have shredded a few over the years.

i can verify this. the bottom sheet will wear out way before the top sheet/pillowcases.

I am not finding the sales that great. SEphora used to have 15% off everything last year and now doesn't. Anthropologie had better sales on home stuff last year with free shipping, now it doesn't.

My poor niece is a cashier at target today and said it’s a mad house but she doesn’t understand why considering there are no big Black Friday deals.

Please post any good sales that you find. I’m also in the market!

I'm looking at Garnet Hill (30% off everything and I like their striped towels), Cozy Earth (35% off waffle towel bundle), Onsen (39% off waffle towel bundle) and a few other sites. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the choices tbh, and I'd love to know about any other sales or recommendations people have.

I'm looking at The Company Store's towels - I want these: https://www.thecompanystore.com/bath-towels/spectrum-100-cotton-bath-towels/VJ59.html

So pretty!

Kids pajamas and flannel plants are $5-$6.
I don’t buy target clothes but I’m pretty sure that’s a good sale price.

I got DD Tasmans. She asked last year and I didn’t her them. She’s 13 and still fits in a kids 6. They were $84.

Or pay half your monthly health plan premium in Dec. Most discounts out there are for nonsense we don’t need.

Actually it's true. Target clothes are ridiculously overpriced for the cheap crap they are. You can find better quality at a better price at Banana.

I was in Target this afternoon, it was surprisingly empty.

No, cat and jack pants for kids have always been $5-6. I used to buy them for my kid to wear to school.

They are correct that the target clothing is not what it was 10-20 years ago, or even 5. I used to get a ton of clothes there and am still wearing stuff I bought like 15 years ago and getting compliments on it —- but in recent years it just hasn’t been good, sadly. I haven’t really found a replacement but get some basics at Costco, Levi’s outlet or lands end sales.

I think a lot of people had off work and were just getting errands done. I went to the grocery store and the pet food store.
