Kansas is solid Republican.


KS is weird. They still have a D governor. The R state senate decided that they didn’t have the votes to redistrict the lone D House seat away.


Despite Kansas voting for Trump by a wide margin,
Democrat Governor Kelly defeated comic-book villain Secretary of State Kansan Kris Kobach in 2018, on the strength of endorsements from former Republican leaders. Won re-election in 2022. Both races where ~50-50 but for with 3rd and 4th party "spoilers".
