I am Native and also have worked with many tribes over the years. There is a general Native accent that I recognize (and I’ve wondered how they all have the same accent). But yeah, SW tribes sound different than the S Dakota tribes. The variations are more by region than tribe. |

I always liked my wife's grandmother's accent - she grew up in London and came over to the US after WW2. Never lost it.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, and there are some great Pittsburgh accents out there. God Bless my Uncle because he is one of those guys you can pick out of a crowd and now where he is from. |
