I agree that this is not something a few words of apology, or even resignations, will correct. The GOP needs a deep overhaul of its values and moral principles. It cannot keep hating those who aren't Christian and white.

Considering that 99% of the world's population is extremely patriarchal and conservative, and that most immigrants who arrive in this country are culturally more conservative than the average American, the GOP would rule forever more if it embraced immigration and supported peoples of all ethnicities and cultures. It's amazing that the party cannot see this.
