What old TV shows are worth watching?

This was such a beautiful show. I didn't watch it when it was on but binged it a few years ago. Highly recommend watching it with no ads because it's 10 seasons - I calculated at one point how long it would take me to watch with ads versus without and I instantly upgraded (I watched it on Hulu at the time).

That show had 10 seasons? Really?

I don’t think that I could rewatch this one. It was a good watch the first time, but emotionally draining

Sports Night! Love it!

If you like Sorkin, I loved Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and have rewatched it a couple of times. It was short-lived and critically panned, but I enjoyed it. It's on Prime. I haven't seen Sports Night and would really like to.

Me again, looks like Sports Night is on Prime (to buy). Downloading for a trip this weekend!

"McLeod's Daughters" is a really good tv series from Australia. It was originally broadcast 2001-2009. It's dramatic, romantic, funny, and sad.
About two sisters on a farm in South Australia. One of them grew up there, the other one grew up in Melbourne. Will they be able to get along? Who will they fall in love with? How will they cope with their financial worries?

Lots of horses, cows, sheep, dogs, and beautiful Australian scenery.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I did not love it the first time. As appealing as the cast was.

I also highly recommend Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom, and Ozark.

And what’s the Australian series about the lady OBGYN? That show was awesome.

Lastly, if you haven’t watched Benidorm, you are missing out.

Never heard if it, but it should have been called Down Under.

My Mother The Car

Was on network TV for one season. Sitcom.

Good to see as a measure of how much TV has improved since the 60s.

My Mother The Car = a man finds his mother reincarnated as the family car. 30 episodes ran from September 14, 1965 until April 5, 1966.

Not sure, but might be based on a true story.

I delight in watching old shows.Amy tend to focus on dialogue v plot driven as more new shows do. There's an art to writing for the ear.

Friday Night Lights - Vanpire Diaries - Burn Notice - White Collar - Grimm.

Buffy for sure!

ER - the OG not the redux wanna be now.

Cosby Show is a true classic. Love Boat is too and who can forget Fantasy Island??!

They will never ever have Las Vegas on it was SO raunchy but was also fun.
