In that case, shouldn't they give a greater weight to "one and done" score from August 2024 than "one and done" score from August 2025? |
Said should give far greater weight to a "one and done" applicant. |
I feel your pain. How many top 20 schools did your DC apply? |
What else did your kid have? |
Yep. Because everyone knows an Aug 2025 kid applying for 2026 took the test more than once, probably many times-regardless of what they report. And no, they don't care. -Superscored 1530 admitted to 4 top20 schools. |
I’m sorry. Hope your kid is doing well and settled? Curious about major and type of HS? |
Not even UC Berkeley and UCLA? Hard to believe. Troll. |
They don't care about one-and-done, at least for SAT. ACT is different. |
|
There is zero way for a school to see that you are “one and done” unless they require all scores.
You could have taken it 5 times and only report the score from the sitting with the best results. This just isn’t a big deal. At all. |
Impossible to know what happened here without GPA, AP # and ECs. |
Fact that didn't get in UCs indicates there is a huge red flag other than test score. |
And my TO kid (private HS), 3.84uw got into 4 T20. It’s not only about one thing. Forget that at your peril. Be interesting. Have a passion. Tell your story powerfully and in a way that’s moving. |
lol Those schools don’t see scores. |
Really? I thought other T20s love TO kids and 1500 and below kids? That leaves UCs to high scorers? |
Why don’t you look up average SAT scores for the UCs.
