That’s one person. Are there two? |
Wes Moore: “If the idea comes in to mobilize a National Guard in one of our cities and I do not deem it to be mission critical, I can give you my answer in one word: No. I take it very seriously because unlike the president, I’ve actually worn the uniform of this country.” Yeah, I’ll second it. |
Yeah, I think.this too. |
Never say never, but yup - he's pretty safe because people are obtuse. Take this latest poll as an indicator. The poll released Monday found voters are generally pessimistic. Roughly two-thirds of those surveyed said the country is on the wrong track. Fifty-four percent have a negative view of Maryland’s economy and 67% said the amount of taxes paid in Maryland is “too high.” Even so, 59% of voters in the poll appear to lay more of the blame on Trump and Republicans in Congress. One in four blamed Moore. https://marylandmatters.org/2025/08/11/moore-maintains-approval-of-majority-in-new-poll-but-sees-continued-softening-of-support/ Cults can swing both ways. |
| What democrats will run against him? No Republican has a chance in this MAGA-infected field. |
Nothin’ like “correcting” somebody AND being wrong! |
Depends on who the Republicans put up as a candidate, on whether character matters. That is how they operate. There was moral outrage over Clinton, and John Kerry had a questionable military service record, while Bush was a war hero, even though he was MIA for much of his service. In a strange twist, while service used to matter to Republicans, they now look the other way when their candidate belittles military service and even calls troops and veterans “losers.” |

| Hogan >>>> Moore |
I’m a Marylander who recognizes that Maryland’s economy and imposition of taxes were negatively affected by Trump’s economic policies, including, to name a few, the TACO tariffs, the destruction of a good portion of local employment, immigration policies, destruction of federal programs and agencies, and the attacks on education at all levels. Moore has my vote. |
| Another Marylander who will definitely vote for him again. I think he has higher aspirations (or at least I hope he does) and will vote for him then as well. |
|
Literally what has Wes Moore done well?
List an accomplishment for the state. One. |
Being so completely uninformed is not a flex. |
Not in this lifetime. Not while Trump is president. |
So... nothing then? Here I'll help you. -He instituted the largest tax increase in state history. - He regressively doubled the car registration fee. -He turned a 5B surplus into a 3B deficit in 2 short years. Any other accomplishments I missed? |
