Your favorite movie dance scene . . . .

Bernadette Peters reminded me of Annie - there are some fun song and dance numbers in that movie!

I just went back and watched twist and shout form Ferris buellers and it really is a great scene. Such a great combo of professional dancers and random normals off the street. Would have loved to be an extra!

Supposedly this was improvised and not supposed to be in the movie.

"The story has been passed around for decades, but as the tale goes, the two were just warming up before filming. However, director Emile Ardolino was so enamored with the playfulness of the crawl that he incorporated it into the final film. And thank the cinema gods that he did, because it's one of the greatest examples of on-screen chemistry ever captured."

Was Swayze married at this point? Imagine how his wife felt seeing this improvised scene, which was them goofing around?
