Have you ever known anyone who used one of the “end of life” services in Switzerland?

Hospice definitely does not do this. After my husband died at home, Hospice measured how much morphine was left.

People are telling you here that Hospice’s do do this!! Maybe yours didn’t, but others clearly do.

To the PPs who suggested drug overdose - have always wondered same. Everyone says the smallest amounts of Fentanyl will kill you - so take a large amount.

I did this. It was a great experience, not painful at all. Very peaceful in fact. Would highly recommend.

That’s to make sure you didn’t take any. When my mother died at home in hospice the nurse counted all her pain meds and put it on a report. She then added water and charcoal to them in a bottle and disposed of them.
