I'll add...just the like the protests are "performative" yet making a point and showing the nation that they won't stand by quietly....then why don't Democratic leaders do the same -- sure it might be purely performative....but why not see which Republicans would back it?

No one voted for the government to engage in illegal activity. No other President has been enjoined for illegal behavior related to their much more successful deportation processes. Trump is off the rails.
