I would not name a girl that. Second association is the potential for Spring Break jokes.

Parents shouldn't start embarrassing their child on Day 1.

You must be old.

Wilder should only be one of a set of triplets: Wild, Wilder, and Wildest. These children should be studied their entire lives to learn whether such naming influences outcomes.

Same with Walt, Walter, and Waltest.

Why the F comes up with these stupid names?

Our neighbors have a boy named Maverick and I cringe every time I hear it. Just seems like they’re trying way too hard…

Friend's nephew just named his son Wolf. Not Wolfgang but Wolf. Let the howling begin.

I know a Wolfe and Wlyde, boy/girl siblings.

I think it’s a solid middle name, so maybe offer your spouse that option. As a first name it’s too try hard (in my opinion).

Wilder Angel would be classy OP.

There's a Remington on our street. Maybe his baby brother will be Glock.

Nah, a baby brother would be Colt or a baby sister would be Beretta.

Yeah, I don't hate it, but I think it would always get mispronounced.
